There are 16 different Myers Briggs personality types, but they all have some things in common. First of all, everyone has four primary personalities. These are the personalities that we show to the world most of the time. They're our "frontal" personalities – the ones we show to other people.
Second, everyone has two secondary personalities – hidden away inside us. They're our "rear-view" or "shadow" personalities. We show these personalities to ourselves only, and they often have different thoughts and feelings than our frontal personalities.
