I dag vart Oscar-nominasjonane offentleggjorte. ”Avatar” og ”The Hurt Locker” har hausta inn ni nominasjonar, og seglar dimed opp som favorittane.

Nytt av året er at kategorien beste film omfattar ni nominerte filmar – fire fleire filmar enn tidlegare.

Det næraste me kjem ein norsk nominasjon er den skandinaviske samproduksjonen ”Burma VJ”, som er nominert til prisen for beste dokumentarfilm.

Utdelinga går av stabelen natt til 8. mars.
